Our BEng Mechanical Engineering provides an excellent alternative to an MEng course if you'd prefer to study for three years rather than four. Many students choose this course as they would like to enter the workplace earlier, while others continue their engineering education to an MSc.This degree gives you a solid grounding in mechanical engineering. It covers all the essentials, with an emphasis on modelling and design. You'll be introduced to business and management in an engineering context, and you'll complete an individual project in an area that interests you.
