Psychology

Psychology is one of the most popular majors in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Department's faculty are committed to providing a superior educational experience to students taking their classes. The Department's quality of teaching has been broadly recognized: two faculty members have won the University's Distinguished Teaching Award, nine have won Golden Dozen Teaching Awards from NYU's College of Arts and Sciences, and many graduate teaching assistants have won teaching awards. Many faculty members are active in teaching innovation, and two have won the Teaching Innovation Award of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The Department's curriculum is constantly analyzed and adjusted according to the needs of our students.
