Economics

The Economics Department is shared by both the College of Arts & Sciences and by the ILR School, and we offer a variety of services to the Cornell undergraduate community. For students in the College of Arts & Sciences, we offer an Economics Major that is considered a STEM field. For students in the ILR School, we offer an Economics Minor. In addition, Economics courses are taken by students from all undergraduate colleges at Cornell, and many programs require some of our courses. The Economics Department is also committed to fostering an inclusive culture and positive climate for all at Cornell University and in the Economics profession more broadly.
