Our Economics degree at Leeds will allow you to explore a wide range of economic perspectives and approaches to real-world challenges. You’ll develop into a well-rounded economist with the important skills that are sought after by graduate employers.This course covers the core concepts and techniques in economics, where you will gain analytical, quantitative, computing, presentation and other transferable skills, preparing you for a variety of exciting careers in the private and public sector.You’ll develop a deep understanding of the factors that influence income, wealth and wellbeing, how scarce resources are allocated, distributed and utilised today, and how they may change in the future.Throughout the course you’ll build in-depth knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics and build your mathematical, data analysis and research skills.
