The programme is best suited to those who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of the whole field of finance before choosing their preferred area of specialisation – our optional modules will allow you to tailor your degree to fit your career aspirations. You will learn both how to evaluate financial issues and to improve the practice of finance.Our master’s in Finance shares a common taught first semester with the MSc Corporate Finance and MSc Finance and Investment programmes. In semesters two and three you will then choose from a wide range of modular options, including those in corporate finance, investment and international finance.Within corporate finance, you will gain a deeper understanding of topics such as cost of capital and dividend policy, as well as investment topics such as asset pricing and portfolio selection. You will also have the opportunity to explore international finance by selecting optional modules in international financial management, global financial markets and/or global investment analysis.
